Terms And Conditions
Below you will find the terms and conditions under which Ace Skin Health Clinic offers services to its clients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them before booking a treatment or consultation. We reserve the right to amend or change these terms and conditions from time to time.
Appointments
● All customers must be at least 18 years old to start treatment.
● Ace Skin Health Clinic will make every effort to ensure that your appointment takes place on time. However, should we need to cancel your appointment at short notice, we will endeavour to contact you in advance. All treatments cancelled by Ace Skin Health Clinic will be re-booked as soon as possible.
● All Ace Skin Health Clinic practitioners are trained and certified according to the company’s treatment protocol. Therefore, we cannot guarantee continued treatment with any particular practitioner.
● Before your appointment, we will inform you of all the preparations required for your treatment. If you do not follow the instructions, this may result in your appointment being cancelled, the treatment time being shortened or additional costs being incurred.
● Note: Make-up, deodorant, perfume and creams should not be applied to the areas to be treated on the day of treatment. Although the areas to be treated are cleaned by our practicioners, we cannot be held responsible for the above-mentioned products that may remain in the skin pores and cause an adverse reaction. For laser hair removal: The area to be treated must be shaved and hair-free 24 hours prior to treatment. The hair must not be waxed or plucked for 4 weeks before the treatment.
Deposits
● To make an appointment with Ace Skin Health Clinic, either at the clinic or online, we require a fully refundable deposit to be taken from your credit or debit card.
● All deposits are fully refundable if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 48 hours before the appointment.
● All deposits can be used to pay for treatment or left in your account for future treatments.
Cancellation Policy
● If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, our cancellation policy will apply, i.e. you will have to pay a 50% fee.
● If you do not attend your appointment and do not try to let us know, you may be charged 75% of the cost or lose your treatment.
● If you arrive late for your appointment, this may result in your treatment time being shortened, you losing your appointment or a fee being charged.
Pricing and payments
● Pricing: Prices for treatments or courses of treatments may vary during promotional periods. Please check and confirm prices by phone or at the clinic.
● Payments by card: We ask you to pay by card or contactless whenever possible. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, except American Express.
● Payments: All treatments purchased as a course or package must be paid in full before the first treatment.
● Expiry: All treatments in a course must be used within 24 months of the date of purchase. Treatments that have not been used after 24 months will automatically expire and a new package must be purchased. Exceptions are made if medical reasons require disruptions of treatment.
Suitability for treatment
● We will always check that the treatment is suitable for you before we carry out any treatment. Ace Skin Health Clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable.
● For certain treatments, skin types and conditions, you may be advised to prepare your skin prior to treatment. After a consultation, you can purchase or order the prep skin care products at the clinic.
● Ace Skin Health Clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment to any client who presents a risk without skin prep.
● You (client) must read through the information provided and complete a medical history form before having any treatment carried out.
● You (client) must read through the information provided and sign the relevant consent forms before any treatment. We cannot carry out any treatment without your written consent.
● You (the client) are responsible for providing Ace Skin Health Clinic with all relevant information about your medical history and medication prior to any treatment. All existing clients will be asked to sign a declaration confirming that their medical history has not changed since the date of completion. Ace Skin Health Clinic reserves the right to ask for the medical history form to be completed again at any time.
Patch test
● A laser patch test must be performed by your practitioner 1 week before starting any laser treatments in the clinic.
● Before you use a new product, you must do a patch test. A patch test involves applying a small amount of a product to the skin and leaving it there to see if a reaction occurs.(hives, itchy skin, a rash, facial swelling, irritation of the eyes, nose and mouth, wheezing, and anaphylaxis)
Refund Policy
● Treatment courses are only refundable for medical reasons. Any refund agreed between the customer and Ace Skin Health Clinic will be calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments already used. The difference is the amount to be refunded.
● Products purchased at the clinic are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Liability Policy
● Ace Skin Health Clinic shall not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including but not limited to loss of profit) or any other special, indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the provision of goods and/or services to the customer.
● It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she provides us with all relevant medical information prior to any treatment. We will not be liable for any damages caused by the client’s failure to provide us with this information.
● The client agrees to follow all instructions and/or recommendations given to him/her by or on behalf of Ace Skin Health Clinic practitioners in relation to the care of a treated area.
Drunk or under the influence of drug substances
Ace Skin Health Clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment to clients who display disruptive behaviour and are obviously under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Gift Cards
● Ace Skin Health Clinic gift cards can be used as full or partial payment for a treatment or treatment package. You will not receive change. The remaining balance will be left on the gift card and can be used for future purchases.
● Ace Skin Health Clinic gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
● Ace Skin Health Clinic gift cards are currently valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
● The minimum amount that can be added to an Ace Skin Health Clinic Gift Card in a single transaction is £10.
Complains
● Our aim is to provide a service that meets the needs of our customers and we strive to provide a high standard of care.
● However, if you have a problem with any matter relating to your treatment at Ace Skin Health Clinic, you have the right to make a complaint in person, by telephone or in writing. If you require assistance in making your complaint, we will be happy to help and support you throughout the process.
● We are committed to an effective and fair complaints system.
